The importance of nutrition in a patient’s cancer journey
The disease and its treatments can increase the protein and energy needs of cancer patients. This means having a suitable diet is important. However, getting good nutrition can prove difficult because cancer and its treatments are often accompanied by side effects that can restrict eating.
Paying close attention to the nutrition of each patient is essential. Depending on the risk of malnutrition shown in the health report (medium – high), you can regularly monitor the nutritional status of your patient and adjust their care.

So that Resilience can support you in this regular monitoring, patient data must be entered and updated (Essential information to enter) in order to ensure a reliable calculation and allow Resilience to alert you based on scores obtained in connection with the risk of malnutrition.
